National Federation Party President Pio Tikoduadua has responded to a statement by the Prime Minister where he had said that people should vote for the right party to avoid going back to 2000.
Although Bainimarama did not say that people should vote for his party, Tikoduadua says that when the Prime Minister is referring to the year 2000, he is implying that the right party is the FijiFirst.
Tikoduadua says NFP has told the people what it will do - $5 minimum wage, $100 per tonne of cane, 15 VAT free items, housing, education and health.
He says all the Prime Minister is saying is to vote for the right party.
Tikoduadua says his challenge to the Prime Minister is to do what he said he would do and campaign on facts, not fear.
