The 67-year-old grandfather who was found guilty of one count of indecent assault, 5 counts of rape and one count of sexual assault will be sentenced today.
The 67-year-old committed these offenses between the 1st of June 2012 to the 31st of June 2015 in Tailevu.
High Court Judge Justice Riyaz Hamza had acquitted the man of one count of rape.
Justice Hamza while delivering his judgement said the girl had testified in court that her grandfather had raped her when she was in Year 2.
The man had initially been charged with 8 counts of offences relating to sexual assault.
He had earlier pleaded guilty to one count of rape.
