The National Fire Authority is yet to begin their investigation into a house fire in Laqere yesterday afternoon which now left a family homeless.
National Fire Authority Chief Fire Officer Qionilau Moceitai says that the fire destroyed the 5 bedroom house and luckily there was no fatalities.
The family are now residing with their relatives.
Moceitai says that they received the call at around 1pm and dispatched a team from Nausori, Valelevu and Suva to the scene.
The first team from NFA arrived at the scene less than 5 minutes from when they received the call.
