Wellington Phoenix coach Mark Rudan says they want this year to be the best for Roy Krishna and he has certainly started off on the right note.
Rudan says Krishna has been at the Phoenix for a long time adding that Roy is a quiet guy but to see that fight in him to work for his teammates was fantastic.
Krishna has become the joint highest goal scorer for the Wellington Phoenix with 33 goals and is tied with former front man Paul Ifill.
Krishna scored a goal as they beat Newcastle Jets 2-1 in their first A-League match last night.
