“I am a grown man but I still find it hard to live without my father because there is still an emptiness that exists.”

This was the comment made by 28-year-old Ravindra Prasad who was told of the Family Insurance initiative for civil servants by one of his uncles.

He says he is highly grateful for this initiative as this has assisted him in saving for his future as he had taken out his FNPF money to cater for his father’s funeral expenses.

Prasad says he and his brothers now look after his their mother.

His father died of a stroke and Prasad says he can still recall the day of his father’s death.

He says he will never forget that day.
