England's Ben Te'o has revealed that Israel Folau convinced him to cross codes as he prepares to face his former Brisbane Broncos teammate at Twickenham tomorrow.
England are seeking a sixth successive victory over Australia with Te'o starting at inside centre and Folau picked at full‑back.
The friends played together for the Broncos and Queensland before Folau moved to rugby via a short spell in the AFL.
Folau has amassed 72 caps since making his debut in 2013 and Te'o understands the damage he can cause on the counter‑attack.
England take on the Wallabies at 4am tomorrow.
In other international tests tomorrow, the All Blacks will face Italy at 2am, Scotland take on Argentina at 3.30am, Wales will meet South Africa at 6.20am, Ireland will face USA at 7.30am while the Flying Fijians will take on France at 9.05am.
