The Tabadamu 7s team has won the Raka 7s after beating defending champions Ratu Filise 28-14 in the Cup final at the ANZ Stadium yesterday.

The two sides were locked 14-all at half time.

Fiji 7s team player Terio Tamani scored a hat-trick for Tabadamu.

His two tries in the second half sealed the win for Tabadamu.

Tabadamu is coached by former Fiji 7s team captain Setefano Cakau who also played in the final yesterday.

Cakau is now 40-years-old.

Nasoni Roko and Manueli Laqai also played for Tabadamu.  

Leveni Tani and Sakiusa Dreunimocea scored a try each for Ratu Filise.

Tabadamu wins $20,000 while Ratu Filise gets $5,000.

Police Blue finished third after beating Coastal Brothers 19-14 in the third place playoff.

The Plate final was won by First Light Taveuni who defeated Exile Brothers 17-12.

The Plantation Island 7s team beat the Vuna 7s team 17-nil to win the Shield final while the Uluinakau Baabas 7s team defeated Niurua Creative 19-7 to win the Bowl final.

Meanwhile, Marist Seahawks won the Women’s Cup final after beating Striders 26-14. 

Fiji Airports Nadi Aviators thrashed Valkyries 38-nil to finish in third place while Lautoka Crusaders won the Plate final after defeating Nadi Blazers 20-nil.

Marist Seahawks win $10,000 while the Striders get $2,500.
