The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7's team were the last team to arrive in Cape Town earlier this morning ahead of the Cape Town 7s this weekend.

Fiji overcame the Blitzboks to claim fifth place in Dubai last weekend however, both the 2017/2018 favorites were not in good form as they were toppled in their respective quarterfinal matches.

Many have criticised Fiji’s slow start in the series.

It was almost all playing catch up rugby for Fiji over the weekend, a threat that coach Gareth Baber was fearing going into the series.

Fiji is pooled with England, France and Kenya in the Cape Town 7s which will be held this Saturday and Sunday.

Fiji will take on France in their first pool match at 9.59pm this Saturday.

They will take on Kenya at 1.20am Sunday and then play their last pool match against England at 5.03am Sunday.

The Cup quarterfinals will start at 11.04pm Sunday, semifinals will start at 3.34am Monday and the Cup Final will be played at 6.44am Monday.
