Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Coach Gareth Baber is aiming to build a set of good leaders within his team as they are focused on winning the series.

Baber says that while a blood of fresh talent have impressed him in the last two tournaments he is particularly impressed with the leadership from senior players.

He says that this has been the most significant outcome in their successful start to the HSBC World Sevens Series.

He adds that he is aiming for consistency as he also continues to encourage senior players like Captain Kalione Nasoko, Jerry Tuwai and Paula Dranisinukula to help guide young players in their positions.

The squad heads into a three day camp from tomorrow as they prepare for Hamilton.

Fiji is the defending champion in Hamilton and they will lead Pool A with Australia, Argentina and Wales in the mix.

The Hamilton 7s will be held from the 26th to the 27th of next month.
