39yr-old former British Army Officer drowns in Ba river

A former British Army Officer drowned in the Ba River yesterday.

Police say the 39-year-old man who was from Varadoli, Ba was swimming with his friends when he allegedly drowned and attempts to revive him proved futile.

The post mortem has not been conducted yet.
