High Court Judge Justice Riyaz Hamza has found a 37-year-old man guilty of raping a 3-year-old girl.
The incident occurred on the 22nd of June 2015 in Vanuabalavu.
All three assessors had also found the man guilty of one count of rape.
The man who was known to the victim had told the victim he would give her chewing gum if she allowed him to perform the act on her.
The 3-year-old girl had told her mother of the incident who then had filed a complaint with police.
Justice Hamza has adjourned the case to next Wednesday for sentencing submissions and mitigation.
