A man has pleaded not guilty to stealing items worth more than $39,000 before the Suva High Court today.
Eroni Waqa has been charged with two counts of aggravated robbery.
Waqa is alleged to have robbed a taxi, cash, and mobile phone all worth $26,300 from a man on the 27th of February 2017.
On the same day Waqa is alleged to have robbed cash, gold bracelet, diamond rings, and mobile phones worth $12,770 from a woman.
Both alleged incidents happened in Suva.
The case has been adjourned to 26th of this month.
