A six bedroom house in Narere Stage 1 was destroyed in a fire in the last hour.

Firefighters were able to control the fire from spreading to nearby houses.

The National Fire Authority says that the owner of the house and two tenants were at the scene when they arrived and there have been no reports of any injuries.

The Valelevu Fire Station responded to the call at 12.30 this afternoon.
