The Swire Shipping Fiji Warriors team thrashed Junior Japan 66‑24 in a dazzling performance at the ANZ Stadium last night.

Debutant Veresa Tuqovu scored his first try in international rugby in the match.

Fiji led 26-12 at halftime.

Warriors Captain Frank Lomani says the team has stepped up and they have another chance to prove themselves in their final match against Samoa A.

The Fiji Warriors face Samoa A in their final game of the World Rugby Pacific Challenge at 5pm this Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.

Junior Japan will take on Tonga A at 2.30pm Saturday.
