A family of five escaped serious injuries after the car they were traveling in veered off the road near Tokotoko in Navua yesterday afternoon.
Police say the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle resulting in the car overturning in a drain.
Police say their Navua Traffic team, officers from their Special Response Unit and members of the public helped in getting the victims out from the car and transported them to the Navua Hospital.
The four passengers were treated and sent home while the driver will be questioned soon.
