Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Coach Gareth Baber says that he is confident in the team he has selected for the Hong Kong 7s this weekend.
Baber says that while other teams might not know some of his players too well, he is confident in the talent his players have.
Baber also says that players will be accountable for their performances this weekend and he has reminded them on the importance of preparing well and surpassing their potential.
Fiji is aiming to win a record fifth title in a row in Hong Kong.
Fiji will take on Kenya at 11.37pm Friday in their first pool match of the Hong Kong 7s, they will then take on Australia at 5.13pm Saturday and play their final pool match against New Zealand at 8.55pm Saturday.
The Cup quarterfinals will start at 2.58pm Sunday, Cup semifinals start at 7.41pm Sunday while the Cup final is at 11pm Sunday.
