The Fiji Roads Authority says sections of Ratu Mara Road in Nabua have been severely damaged through the recent intense and prolonged rain.
It has confirmed that they will be carrying out resurfacing work in the coming week if the weather is favourable.
The Fiji Roads Authority says its resources are being deployed to work on emergency conditions.
16 pothole patching crews have been dispatched and instructed to manage the risk of safety hazards to the public.
