The Water Authority of Fiji is closely working with the Fiji Police Force in relation to the security of the Savura Dam in Colo-i-Suva after eleven men allegedly threatened to cut off water supply to the residents of Suva last Saturday.
It says the Water Authority of Fiji security team is actively patrolling the site.
In the facebook video, the men claimed that they were not receiving the lease money for the dam in Savura, Colo‑i‑Suva.
The Water Authority of Fiji is yet to comment on the issue of the payment of lease money.
We have sent questions to the iTaukei Land Trust Board on whether or not the lease payment has been made.
