Vodafone Fiji today presented a cheque of $5,000 to Fiji Swimming as part of their sponsorship towards the 2019 Fiji Swimming Long Course Age Group Nationals which is scheduled to held this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Vodafone Sponsorship Manager Adriu Vakarau says this sponsorship will help with them team’s preparations for the competition and also with the officials uniforms.

Vakarau says they are very thankful to the General Manager of Fiji Swimming for giving them this opportunity to be part of the event this year.

General Manager Fiji Swimming David Dugucanavanua says this sponsorship has come in a crucial time, as this will enable them to fully finance their competition this weekend.

Dugucanavanua also highlighted that 14 teams from 10 local clubs and 4 visiting clubs have confirmed their participation for the competition
