The Vodafone Tebara Queen will be crowned tonight at Syria Park in Nausori.
The crowning ceremony will start at 7.30 tonight.
Seven contestants are vying for the crown.
The theme of the carnival is “Working towards a safe environment for all”.
Tebara Committee Chairman Lagesh Prasad says the funds raised from this year's carnival will go towards the upgrading of Syria Park to something similar to My Suva Park in Nasese.
He says with the huge number of people that have turned up at the carnival their target of $50,000 will surely be reached.
Some local bands that will be performing tonight include Sauca Seda, Senilagakali kei Koroilagi and Via ni Tebara
