Muslims all over the country will today await the sighting of the new moon to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadhan.
The Fiji Muslim League says if the new moon is sighted today then Eid will be celebrated tomorrow.
They say if the new moon is not sighted today, then Eid will be celebrated this Thursday.
During the month of Ramadhan, Muslims refrain from eating and drinking from dawn to dusk.
This is done every year after which they mark the festival of Eid.
