15 civil servants will be leaving for an 11 day Leadership training program in Shanghai from the 23rd of June to the 3rd of July.
Sponsored by the Chinese Government the intense training will be carried out by the Chinese Executive Leadership Academy of Pudong

It is aimed at strengthening participants skills in leadership, research work and climate change.
Representative of the 2019 CELAP team, Head of the Corporate Services of the Office of the President, Liti Moumou on behalf of her team acknowledged the opportunity.
She says they hope to learn as much as they can and when they return they hope to implement the things they have learned to their different ministries.

Political Counselor and Deputy Chief Mission of Chinese Embassy in Fiji, Huang Xuehu while speaking to the nominees highlighted that they can also experience the cultures of the Chinese people during their visit.
He hopes that the participants will be refreshed with ideas when they return.
This the sixth time Fiji is part of the CELAP training.
