New South Wales Blues half back Nathan Cleary says they need to win tonight’s game to keep their Origin series alive.
Cleary who has been working closely with National Rugby League Hall of Fame Andrew Johns says learning from a legend such as Johns has given him some of the ideas on how to better in his performance as halfback.
He says playing along side team mate James Maloney will be a learning experience for him and he hopes to complement him during the game.
New South Wales Blues Coach Brad Fittler has made seven changes to his starting line up where he has opted for an all‑Penrith combination, with Maloney joining half‑back Cleary.
Meanwhile, Queensland has made only two changes in their line up tonight with Titans prop Jarrod Wallace and Newcastle veteran Tim Glasby have been recalled to replace injured Joe Ofahengaue and Jai Arrow.
The second game of the State of Origin will be held at Optus Stadium in Perth at 9.50 tonight.
