Roy Krishna and Dave Radrigai will co-captain the national soccer team in the Pacific Games this month.
Laisenia Raura, Rusiate Matarerega, Samuela Drudru, Simione Tamanisau, Patrick Joseph, Nicholas Prasad, Kishan Sami, Setareki Hughes and Christopher Wasasala have also been included.
Fiji last won gold in the soccer competition in 2003 in Fiji.
Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel announced during the team’s farewell dinner at Fiji FA Academy in Ba that each player and official will receive $1,000 each if they win gold during the Pacific Games.
Fiji will play New Caledonia, Tahiti, the Solomon Islands, American Samoa and Tuvalu in Group B.
They will face Tahiti in their opening match at 1pm next Monday.
Fiji’s second match will be against American Samoa on at 10am next Wednesday.
The National side will face defending champions New Caledonia in their third match at 1pm next Friday.
Fiji will play Tuvalu at 1pm on the 15th of this month and take on Solomon Islands in their last pool match at 7pm on the 18th of this month.
The final will be played on Saturday July 20th.
