The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians took time out last night to mentor the Vodafone Fijian Under‑20 team in Sigatoka.

Senior players like Leone Nakarawa, Vereniki Goneva, Kini Murimurivalu and Dominiko Waqaniburotu took part in one on one mentoring sessions with members of the Under‑20 team after their prayer session.

For half‑back Frank Lomani, it was a different story as he sat as a mentor this time around compared to being a junior player four years ago.

Lomani says once upon a time he was sitting and the players such as Vereniki Goneva and Leone Nakarawa came to talk to them.

He says he told his group that he listened to everything his mentors said at the time and took their words and put it into action.

Fiji plays the Maori All Blacks at 3pm next Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
