New All Blacks and Crusaders winger Sevu Reece admits he had to listen to his name being read out twice before he really believed he had been selected for the All Blacks for the first time.

Reece has been selected in the All Blacks squad for the first two Rugby Championship matches.

Reece told TV NZ that he was lying on his lounge floor, when he heard his name immediately after Kieran Read's was read out.

Reece says had to replay it to hear it properly, his hands and his feet were shaking for almost two hours as he could not believe it.

He says he called to inform his family in Fiji.

Meanwhile, he will start for the Crusaders when they take on the Jaguares at 7.35pm tomorrow in the Super Rugby final.
