Thousands of people are currently stuck in traffic from Rewa Bridge to Valelevu.
The Fiji Roads Authority has stated that their contractors are putting in traffic controls this morning as traffic from Adi Davila Road was affecting the Suva bound traffic.
We are currently trying to get confirmation on whether the FRA has made the assessment whether the traffic controls are working or have made matters worse.
FRA has stressed road works are not being carried out during peak traffic hours.
