Health Minister, Doctor Ifereimi Waqainabete has confirmed that the biggest x‑ray machine in the CWM Hospital is now working.
Waqainabete had earlier highlighted that this x-ray machine was not working and that the parts had arrived in the country and they were awaiting specialized engineers to reassemble it.
The Minister also confirms that both the CT scanners and MRI machines are working.
He also says they are transitioning into a digital system for the scanners.
Waqainabete says have a replacement purchase plan to digital systems and this has been budgeted.
