Joseph Kwadjo and Savenaca Naliva will again fight for the Light Heavyweight Title of Fiji in October only five months after their bout at Prince Charles Park was stopped due to the ring being slippery and unsafe for the fight to continue.

A brawl had also erupted in the fourth round in that fight and it included members of Kwadjo and Naliva’s teams.

The fight between the two boxers in February was declared a no contest.

South Pacific Boxing Promotion has confirmed the rematch will take place on 26th October at Prince Charles Park with the fight program to start at 5pm.

Promoter Freddy Chand says there have been intense discussions with both teams and they have agreed to fight on a new canvas.

James Singh will face off again with Petero Qica for the Heavyweight Title of Fiji while Jese Ravudi will fight Ratu Rakuro Daunivavana for the Super Welterweight Title of Fiji.

There are also seven other fights lined-up.

The official signing for the fight program will be done tomorrow at the Grand Pacific Hotel.
