All Blacks fullback Ben Smith says the history between the two sides and the 17-year hold that the All Blacks have had on the Bledisloe Cup would count for little this weekend.
Smith who has been with the All Blacks for the Past 10 years stated that the past does not matter, it is about who turns up on Saturday and plays the best footy to earn themselves the best chance to get this year’s Bledisloe cup.
Meanwhile, Wallabies fullback Dane Haylett‑Petty says they would definitely want to break this drought, but there is a huge goal at the end of the year.
Haylett-Petty says a big focus for them has been on building some momentum, so they have changed a few things and also there has been a lot of competition within the group and everyone is pushing for spot to be in the world cup team.
He says their biggest focus has been trying to get better each week.
The Wallabies will host the All Blacks at 9.45pm this Saturday while Argentina will host South Africa at 7.40am Sunday.
