The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians remains in ninth place in the world ranking after their win against Canada 38-13 in their Pacific Nations Cup match last Saturday.
Fiji who were the defending PNC champions, will be working in improving their game plans and combinations this whole week as they prepare to face Samoa in their last PNC match.
Flying Fijians coach John McKee says since this week they will have a bit of breathing space with extra days of training, they will be trying to implement new things in their game plan.
McKee says they know that Samoa will provide a tough battle as they are always a physical side which means they will need to improve in their defence and attack.
Meanwhile, USA who has been improving in recent years has climbed up the ladder from 15th position to 13th position moving Italy and Tonga on 14th and 15th position respectively.
Fiji will take on Samoa at 7.15pm Saturday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station, Viti FM.
The PNC title decider between Japan and USA is at 4.35pm also at the ANZ Stadium.
