Fiji Airways Flying Fijians captain Dominiko Waqaniburotu says their main focus tomorrow is to win against the Samoans on home soil.
Waqaniburotu says to win against the Samoans tomorrow, they will be working on their won game plan since they know that Samoa will be coming in hard on them since this is also their last game in the Pacific Nations Cup.
He says with the inclusion of veteran Vereniki Goneva in the starting line-up for tomorrow’s match, it will be a great asset for the team.
He adds that Goneva brings in experience and skills and has great leadership skills on the field.
Meanwhile, Flying Fijians coach John McKee has named his 23 member squad to take on Samoa with Goneva starting on the wing and Clermont fullback Setariki Tuicuvu making his first appearance on home soil for the Flying Fijians at fullback.
McKee will also be testing a new combinations in the mid‑field patterning Levani Botia and Semi Radradra in the centres.
McKee says they are looking at a few positions ahead of the Rugby World Cup, giving the players the opportunity to get some game time before the squad is announced sometimes next week.
