A 15-year-old boy appeared before High Court Judge Justice Vinsent Perera in the Suva High Court today charged with one count of rape.
He allegedly raped a 10-year-old boy in a settlement in Suva.
In court today, the defence lawyer requested if the name of the accused could be not given on the cause list as he is a juvenile.
The court also heard the 15-year-old boy is not attending school and is staying with his grandfather doing farming.
Justice Perera has extended bail for the boy.
