Director of Immigration, Nemani Vuniwaqa says that they are currently in the final stages of installing equipment throughout the country.
He says they will start issuing the e-passports once all the equipment is installed.
When asked about the new fee for the e-passports, Vuniwaqa says that they have made a recommendation to cabinet but they are yet to receive the approval.
He says he cannot disclose their recommended fee.
