Police have advised National Federation Party President, Pio Tikoduadua that the Director of Public Prosecutions has returned the investigation file of Tikoduadua’s complaint that he was allegedly assaulted by the Prime Minister on August 9th this year.
In a letter sent by the Chief of Intelligence, Investigations, and Prosecutions, ACP Vakacegu Toduadua to Pio Tikoduadua, Police advised him that the file was sent to the DPP for his analysis yesterday morning.
ACP Toduadua says the DPP has directed that Police should conduct a further investigation.
The letter was posted on NFP’s facebook page late yesterday.
Police have said that all updates of the case will be provided to Tikoduadua.
