23 fallen heroes and former members of the Fiji Police Force were remembered during the Police Remembrance Day that was held around the country.
Members of the Fiji Police Force, diplomatic corps, retired officers and families of the fallen officers gathered at different venues around the country to reflect on the officers contribution and services to the country.
Tears flowed freely for the families and loved ones as wreaths were laid to pay tribute to all fallen comrades who have passed away in their line of duty since last September.
The main event for the Police Remembrance Day was held at the Police Special Response Unit in Nasinu where the Chief Guest was the Acting Chief Justice Kamal Kumar who highlighted the need not to forget the sacrifices and contributions made by these fallen officers.
This is the 29th Police Remembrance Day being celebrated in Fiji.
