The Governor of the Reserve Bank of Fiji, Ariff Ali officially handed over a $50,000 cheque as Gold sponsorship pledging their support to the World Exchange Congress that will be held in Fiji next year.
Ali says they support this Congress to promote a reputable financial system for this country.
He says more than 50 nations will be attending this event with upto 400 participants which will boost Fiji's Tourism sector.
SPX Chairperson, Nur Bano Ali says the sponsorships are categorised in three levels, Gold being $50,000, Silver being $30,000 and Bronze being $20,000.
This will be the 15th year that the Congress has been running.
The World Exchange Congress will be held from the 1st to the 4th of June at the Sofitel Resort and Spa next year.
