Police have confirmed that the three men who allegedly assaulted and robbed a USP student on Monday night are still in custody.
The alleged incident took place on a bus along Nawanawa Road in Nadera when the victim was on her way home from school at around 7pm.
The victim sustained serious injuries and even broke her left arm.
She says that it all happened too fast and there were probably only three passengers on the bus at the time of the incident.
The driver came to help but it was too late as the robbers had jumped out of the window with her phone.
