The Fiji High Commission in London in collaboration with Tourism Fiji hosted the Flying Fijians to an event of Talanoa session and interaction with the Tourism industry stakeholders and the opportunity to meet with the members of the Fijian community in the UK.

The team was welcomed by Fiji’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Jitoko Tikolevu.

Tikolevu congratulated the team for their recent performance at the Rugby World Cup 2019 and reiterated Fiji’s continued support towards their game.

Tourism Fiji Regional Manager UK and Europe,  Jane West congratulated the team for great efforts at the Rugby World Cup in Japan and also expressed Tourism Fiji’s gratitude for providing an opportunity for the Flying Fijians to meet with the Tourism stakeholders in the UK and Europe.

She said that Sports Tourism remains a unique and instrumental niche in destination promotion, and the opportunity for the Flying Fijians as Sports Ambassadors to meet with the tourism industry stakeholders, in sharing the Bula Spirit, is indeed a momentous opportunity.

Fiji takes on the Barbarians at 3.30am tomorrow.
