The post mortem of the 5-year-old boy who passed away in a house fire in Matanikorovatu Road in Makoi last Sunday will be conducted today.
National Fire Authority Chief Fire Officer, Qionilau Moceitai has confirmed to Fijivillage that they will be able to establish the cause of the fire by midday today.
The two-bedroom house which was occupied by a couple and their five sons who were asleep when the fire started, was destroyed.
The NFA had earlier said the intensity of the heat woke the family and while they were escaping the fire, the fourth son was left behind and the family could not rescue him due to the intense fire.
