Eight people are now homeless after a fire destroyed their house in the Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji compound in Nadi at 10 o’çlock this morning.

Firefighters have managed to control the fire from spreading to nearby houses.

They say some members of the family were in the house when the fire started but managed to escape without any injuries.

Investigations continue.
