Kamlesh Arya has been appointed as the new incoming Pro-Chancellor and Chair of Council of The University of Fiji.
Arya holds a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Education and Administration and has held several senior positions on boards and committees in various sectors of the industry.
He is also a former Parliamentarian and Fiji's Ambassador to Australia and for his services to Fiji, Arya was awarded the honor of the Officer of the Order of Fiji in 2015.
Arya is also one of the trustees of the Arya Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji.
He will begin his role from the 1st of next month for a term of 3 years.
