2,030 people are currently staying in 59 evacuation centres around the country.

The National Disaster Management Office is currently working with the Ministry of Health to do the initial assessment for affected areas before allowing families to go back to their homes.

It has also started coordinating the food rations for people currently in Evacuation Centres.

The NDMO also confirms they are still conducting assessments in Kadavu.
