Energy Fiji Limited confirms power supply has been fully restored in all parts of Vanua Levu after there were disruptions since last Friday caused by Tropical Cyclone Sarai.
In the Central Division, power has been fully restored in Navua, Lami, Nasinu and Suva area.
10% of people living in Nausori, Korovou and Vunidawa/Naitasiri still do not have power supply.
Some of these areas include parts of Bau Island and Rewa Delta, Veikura Settlement, Nabau Settlement, Qoma Village, Naqele Village, Nayavutoka Village, Navukadra Village,Namosi Primary School, Namosi Village, Navunibau Village, Navunikabi Village, Salaidrau Village, Wainimakutu Village, Wainisarava, Naqarawai Village, Wainimakutu Village and Naraiyawa Village.
In the Western Division, power has been fully restored in Rakiraki.
10% of people in Tavua, 50% of people in Nadarivatu, 8% of people in Ba in areas such as Nanuku Village, Nalotawa and Yaloku, 7% of people in Lautoka, 18% of people Nadi in areas such as Naboutini Settlement, Navutulevu, parts of Denarau Road, Nagado, Korobebe Sabeto Hill, Part of Nawaicoba, parts of Sabeto Mulomulo and 5% of people in Sigatoka still do not have power supply.
Energy Fiji Limited is planning to restore power supply in all the areas by this Sunday.
