There have already been four separate house fires in the country this year.
A fire destroyed a 4-bedroom house at Mama’s Place in Caubati on Wednesday morning.
In another incident, a family also lost their 3-bedroom house in a fire at Hancock Road in Dilkusha in Nausori on Wednesday.
Another house in Vomo Street in Lautoka was destroyed in a fire on Wednesday.
A fire also destroyed a two-flat house at Mana Place in Nadawa on Thursday leaving 15 people homeless.
No casualties were reported in these incidents as people inside the house managed to escape to safety when the fire started.
