A 23-year-old woman has been remanded in custody for allegedly stabbing another person after a heated argument.

Karala Vitila has been charged with one count of act to cause grievous bodily harm.

It is alleged that the incident occurred in Gau on the 29th of last month.

Suva Magistrate Joseph Daurewa has transferred the case to the Suva High Court stating it as an indictable offence.

The case will be called on the 20th of this month.
