It is a proud day for the Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama and his wife Mary as two of their granddaughters were given leadership roles in their schools today.
Bainimarama’s granddaughter, Kristelle Sorovaki is the Head Girl for Saint Anne’s Primary while his other granddaughter, Emmalyne Whippy is the class captain for Year 7.

Bainimarama says it is a very emotional moment for both him and his wife as grandparents.
A total of 46 prefects were inducted at the school today.
Bainimarama was at Sacred Heart Cathedral with his family to witness the badging ceremonies for Saint Anne’s Primary School.
Kristelle is RubyAnne Bainimarama and Sale Sorovaki’s daughter while Emmalyne is Ateca Bainimarama and Sam Whippy’s daughter.
