The Force kicked a last minute penalty to deny a spirited Swire Shipping Fijian Drua outfit their second win in the Super Rugby Pacific this afternoon.

The Force came from behind to edge the Drua 20-18 in a pulsating clash in Sydney.

The Drua trailed 10-0 until the 32nd minute when Vinaya Habosi scored the first try. Frank Lomani made a line-break from their 22 and quick exchanges saw Habosi crossing over the try-line.

First five-eighth, Teti Tela added 3 points from his boot at the stroke of half-time as the Drua trailed 10-8.

Lomani scored the second try in the 44th minute after Kalaveti Ravouvou made a clean break from the halfway mark, beating a few defenders before releasing the ball to Lomani.

The Drua took the lead for the first time in the 56th minute after Tela added another three points through a penalty.

They looked to have wrapped up the win however, the Force kept pressurizing and camped in Drua’s 22 for most parts of the last 10 minutes.

The Force were awarded a penalty and Bayley Kuenzle kicked from the corner to steal the win away from the Drua.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Thrush and Fergus Lee-Warner had scored a try each for the Force.
