Digicel National Football team midfielder, Tevita Waranaivalu says they are proud of the 2-1 win against New Caledonia in the Oceania Qualifiers of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar this morning but they made some silly mistakes.

Fiji was leading 1-0 at half-time but New Caledonia equalised 15 minutes into the second half.

With a minute left before full time, captain Roy Krishna and Nalaubu combined to secure victory for Fiji, with Nalaubu’s powerful header into the top right corner following Krishna’s delivery from a free kick.

Waranaivalu who was named the Man of the Match says it was a crucial win.
