A thrilling all-Western final is set for next week as Jasper Williams High School will take on Natabua High School in the U18 Weet-Bix Raluve competition.
Jasper sealed their spot in the final after a hard-fought 34-22 victory over Muaniweni College.
The turning point came when substitute Latalini Colala made a game-changing impact off the bench, scoring a brilliant solo try.
Using her sheer strength and determination to run over 40 metres, brushing off defenders to cross the try line and help secure the win for the Lautoka-based school.
Muaniweni College, from Naitasiri, started strong and were impressive throughout the match; however, they struggled to contain the energy and depth of the Jasper bench in the final minutes of play.
Jasper sealed the game with another try in the dying moments, driving the final nail in the coffin.
In the other semifinal, Natabua High School narrowly defeated MGM High School 15-12 in a nail-biting encounter.
Looking at the results of the U16 semi finals, Sigatoka Methodist College delivered a dominant performance, thrashing Dreketi Central College 29–0, and Ratu Latianara College edged ACS 12-10.
